magyk is a bug reporting tool. Capture a screenshot or recording with DevTools context (console, network, actions, environment) from the Chrome extension, then share one link. You can also send a recording link so someone records in the browser without installing anything.

Install the extension, sign in, and capture from the page where the bug happens. Send that share link to a teammate or paste it into a coding agent. If the reporter cannot install the extension, create a recording link in your dashboard and send magyk.app/r/… instead.

Yes. Sign in, open Recording links, create a link, and send it. They open it on a desktop browser, record their screen (optional microphone), and submit once. The recording lands in your workspace as a normal magyk capture. They do not need an account.

A recording link is a public magyk.app/r/… URL from your dashboard. Anyone with it can record their screen in the browser and submit one recording. Use it for customers, teammates, or anyone who cannot install the Chrome extension. After submit, the link shows that a recording was already sent.

No. Recording links capture the screen, optional voice, and basic device metadata. Console, network, and click traces come from the Chrome extension when you capture on the page yourself. Agents still load the submitted recording from the magyk.app/c/… share link.

A plain screenshot or video usually leaves out the console, network failures, and what the reporter clicked. magyk packages extension captures with that DevTools context. A recording link is the Loom-like path: send a URL, get a screen recording back, keep it in magyk next to your other captures.

You decide what to capture and who gets a share link or recording link. Anyone with a capture link can view it until you delete it. Anyone with a recording link can submit one screen recording to your workspace. We use providers like Supabase, Vercel, PostHog, and Google Gemini (for optional speech-to-text and briefs). Yes. magyk exposes an MCP server so coding agents can load a capture from a magyk.app/c/… share link: brief, transcript, console, network, actions, and media. That includes recordings that arrived from a recording link. Set it up on the MCP page, then paste the capture URL in chat.

For recordings with microphone narration, we can transcribe what you said and summarize it into a short debug brief on the share page. The brief is based on the transcript and optional title/description, not a full DevTools dump. Console and network stay available separately for agents and the share UI.
